Primary interest areas
Primary interest areasMy primary areas of concentration include critical, historical, political, social and cultural geography, Science and Technology Studies (STS) and discourse theory. My main research is concerned with conceptualization of the rural-urban distinction in the face of the progressive rural-urban blurring by focusing on the relationships between material and social morphologies as well as rural-urban discourses present in various European contexts. Research interests also include problems and causes of social deprivation in the face of overarching sustainability goals.
