Doctor in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management of Intellectual Assets at University of Gothenburg. My recent PhD thesis focus on how university incubators facilitate the formation of Knowledge-Intensive Entrepreneurial firms in the institutional regime of inventor ownership. Hence, here I am interested in the broader issue of how universities impact society, how university incubators facilitate this by supporting different type of founders to create firms, and the potential impact of these (KIE) firms.
After graduating with a MSc (1 year) degree in Business and Economics from Umeå University in June 2013 I have worked as a Business Coach at Uminova Innovation, one of Sweden’s biggest and highest ranked university incubators. At Uminova I was responsible for early innovation and acted as a bridge between Uminova and Innovation Gateway, a similar organisation under the Region of Västerbotten, where I was responsible for the innovation process and coaching of healthcare professionals from idea to implementation. From March 2015 I have worked as a Business Developer and Process Leader at Drivhuset Gothenburg where I led external courses and workshops on the topic of entrepreneurial learning. During my work experience in the field of Innovation and Entrepreneurship I have found several issues that I want to focus and conduct research on.
Research that primarily interest me are commercialization of university knowledge, incubators and knowledge-intensive entrepreneurial firms. However, many adjacent topics are also of interest: the interaction of university-society, institutional regimes, knowledge transfer, entrepreneurial ecosystems, firm survival (& performance) and competition etc
