This MeetingPoint Innovation discussed what these changes mean to West Sweden as well as how organizations and individuals are reacting to globalization and radical innovations.

This day celebrated the Sten A Olsson Foundation for Research and Culture (Sten A Olssons stiftelse för forskning och kultur), and this Meeting Point Innovation was also a seminar within the “Radical Innovations for the Enhancement of the Swedish Economy”, a research program financed by the Sten A Olsson Foundation for Research and Culture. The audience was given insights about the challenges and opportunities for the universities, politicians, entrepreneurs and large companies, as well as given a systematic analysis of what is changing, with a particular focus on Asia.

Professor Maureen McKelvey, organizer of this MeetingPoint Innovation is leader of this research program. The book published by Edward Elgar Publishers (UK) is entitled Innovation Spaces in Asia: Entrepreneurs, Multinational Enterprises and Policy.
