Maureen McKelveyThe Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Science (IVA) has elected Maureen McKelvey, professor at the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, at the School of Business, Economics and Law, University of Gothenburg a new member. IVA has twelve different divisions within the field of engineering and economic sciences. Maureen McKelvey is selected into division VI - Management.

The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) is an independent academy whose mission is to promote the engineering and economic sciences and the advancement of business and industry for the benefit of society and consists of decision-makers, experts and researchers from the private sector, academia and public administration.

- I am deeply honored to be elected into IVA, because Sweden depends on the close interactions between technology, global business and universities to promote social development and economic growth. As a member of IVA, I want to help strengthen this collaboration further, says Maureen McKelvey.
