International Congress on Coastal and Marine Tourism 2017


Dear friends!

We are proud to welcome you to the 9th International Congress on Coastal and Marine Tourism (CMT) in 2017 in the city of Gothenburg, Sweden. We hereby invite researchers, educators, government employees, industry practitioners, students and representatives of interest organizations to submit research papers and/or posters for the CMT2017. The theme of the congress is “Global challenges, local solutions”.

Please take your time to explore the congress website, where you can find all the practical information you need!

Update April 16:

Registration for delegates presenting papers or posters is now closed. For participants not presenting, the registrations will be open throughout May.

Update March 31:

CMT2017 is now closed for abstracts, both oral and posters.

Update March 13:

  • CMT2017 offers all congress delegates to participate in four workshops. The first two workshops will take place on June 14 (morning and afternoon) and the last two workshops will take place on June 15 (afternoon). For more information on each of the workshops, please go to Workshops!

Update March 01:

  • Early bird registration rates are now closed. From March 01 at 12.00 (local Swedish time), the normal rates for regular attendees and student attendees will be active. Other fee rates will not be changed. Please go to Registration and register for CMT2017!

Updates January 10:

  • It is still possible to submit abstracts for CMT2017! This will be done on a case-by-case basis until March 31! Please send us abstracts on cmt2017@handels.gu.se! Find more information here!

Updates December 01:

  • The deadline for submission of abstracts for CMT2017 has been extended to 08 January 2017! Please find more information here!
